Sea of Thieves Fort of the Damned event brings new spooky new challenges and cosmetics

October is halfway over and to celebrate this month of chilling shenanigans, Rare has released a preview showing what players can expect from the next (and fourth) monthly update. Coming up side by side is the Fort of the Damned. This event is all about players hunting down Ritual Skulls and nabbing the Flames of Fate, the latter of which are rewarded on the Ferry of the Damned, with different colored flames depending on the mode in which detail pirates perish.

There's a diverseness of ways to get them and in one case you have them, they're a key part of gaining access to a special fight in the Fort of the Damned, which has treasure awaiting for whatsoever who brave its secrets. After acquiring the treasure from the creepy fort, there'southward plenty of special new corrective items to grab from the merchants, the Black Market place and the Pirate Emporium. This update is too bringing a host of bug fixes, improvements for pets and other general quality-of-life tidbits. You can also fight in the Loonshit with a two-man sloop and face off against other pairs of pirates.
